We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative written word of God. (Jer.30:2; 2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet 1:20-21)
Statement Of Faith
The Trinity and Nature of God
We believe in the Eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as ONE God existing in THREE persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 3:16, 17; 28:19; Luke 3:21-22; John 17:3; Gal. 4:4-6)
Sin and The Fall of Man
We believe in the creation, test and fall of man as recorded in Genesis; his total spiritual corruption and inability to attain to Divine righteousness through his own efforts. (Rom. 3:11; 5:12-18)
The Nature of Christ
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, very God and very man. (Lk.1:26-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6)
The Death and Resurrection
We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, personally appearing to His disciples. (I Cor. 15:1-8; Rom. 4:25)
Ascension and Second Coming
We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation, and personal, literal and bodily coming again the second time for the Church. (John 14:2-3; Acts 1:9-11; I Thess. 4:13-18)
Grace
We believe in the salvation of sinners by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins. (Eph. 2:8-9; Heb. 9:12-22; Rom. 5:11; 10-9-1)
Baptism
We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in order to fulfill the command of Christ. (Matt. 28:19; Acts 2:37-38; 10:44-48; 19:1-6)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as an experience subsequent to salvation, and a distinct aspect of the Christian foundational experience with the normal evidence of speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:1-4; 8:14-17; 10:44-46; 19:1-6)
Gifts of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the operations of the gifts of the Spirit as written in I Corinthians 12-14 including the healing of the body by Divine power, or Divine healing, as manifested in the Early Church. (Acts 3:16; Acts 4:29-30; Rom. 8:11; I Cor. 12:9; James 5:14-15)
Spirit Led Life
We believe in a Spirit led life of separation from the world and perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as an expression of Christian faith. (John 17:14-18; Rom 12-1-2; Eph. 5:18; II Cor.6:14, 7:1)
Communion
We believe in the Table of the Lord, commonly called Communion or the Lord’s Supper, for believers. (I Cor. 11:23-32)
Heaven and Hell
We believe in eternal life for believers (John 5:24; 3:16) and eternal punishment for unbelievers. (Mk. 9:43-50; II Thess. 1:8-9; Rev. 20:10-15)
Satan and Eternal Judgement
We believe in the reality and personality of Satan and the eternal judgment of Satan and his angels. (Mark 1:13; Matt. 25:41; Rev. 20:10-15)
